🚨🚔 POLICE SEEK SUSPECT IN $9,000 RAVENA BANK FRAUD CASE! PUBLIC'S HELP REQUESTED! 💰🏦
📍 RAVENA, NY — NEW YORK STATE POLICE ARE ASKING FOR THE PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE!
New York State Police are working to identify a man wanted for questioning in connection with a multi-jurisdictional grand larceny and criminal impersonation investigation involving fraudulent identification documents and bank withdrawals.
💰 WHAT HAPPENED IN RAVENA?
According to investigators, on September 25, 2026, the individual allegedly used a fraudulent New York State driver's license to withdraw $9,000 from the Bank of Greene County in Ravena.
🏦 A SECOND ATTEMPT IN GLENS FALLS
Police say the same individual also attempted to withdraw another $9,000 from Arrow Bank in the Town of Glens Falls, reportedly using a fraudulent military Veterans Affairs identification card.
That attempted withdrawal was unsuccessful.
🔎 STATE POLICE INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
The investigation is being handled by the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Livingston.
Authorities are seeking information that could help identify or locate the individual involved.

The Town of Bethlehem has announced that a portion of Kenwood Avenue will be completely closed to traffic overnight on Thursday, November 5, and Friday, November 6, 2026, while crews complete important water infrastructure improvements.
🚧 ROAD CLOSURE DETAILS:
📍 Location: Kenwood Avenue between Rockefeller Road and Winne Place
📅 Dates: Thursday, November 5 & Friday, November 6
⏰ Hours: 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM each night
👷 Contractor: HMA Contracting
🔧 WHAT WORK IS BEING DONE?
Crews will be performing:
💧 Installation of two water main tie-ins
🚧 Replacement of a cross-culvert
⚠️ IMPORTANT: COMPLETE ROAD CLOSURE!
🚫 No vehicles will be permitted through the construction zone during the scheduled closure hours.
🚑 This restriction includes emergency vehicles.

A familiar Capital Region favorite is expanding into the heart of Voorheesville! 🥯☕
Broad Street Bagel Co. is preparing to open its third location at 43 South Main Street, taking over the former Blackbirds Bike Cafe space.
The new cafe is expected to open by mid-November 2026, pending final permits and inspections.
🏡 A NEW CHAPTER FOR A FAMILIAR LOCATION!
Founded in Kinderhook in 2012, Broad Street Bagel Co. has built a following for its fresh bagels and breakfast offerings.
Owner Meghan Calcagno is bringing the same menu available at the original Kinderhook location to Voorheesville.
The former Blackbirds Bike Cafe kitchen, which opened in 2024, has already been outfitted with the equipment needed for bagel production.

The new cafe will be located directly across from Pretty Alright Breakfast Club, giving residents another breakfast option in the village.
While both businesses plan to open at 6 AM, Broad Street Bagel Co. expects to focus primarily on takeout customers.
The expansion also reflects continued investment in Voorheesville's downtown business district.

🏠 A building measuring 20 feet wide in real life would be 5 inches wide in your miniature village!

💡 EASY TIP: Take your building's actual dimensions in feet and divide by 4 to get the model dimensions in inches!
