Bethlehem-area families may want to check the refrigerator or pantry this morning. A voluntary recall has been announced involving certain Horizon Organic chocolate milk 12-packs sold at Market 32 and Price Chopper stores.

The recall comes after customers reported that some of the chocolate milk was spoiling before its listed best-by date, with reports involving bloated packaging and changes in taste, smell or texture.

🔎 WHAT TO CHECK:

🥛 Product: Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk — 12-packs
🏷️ Barcode/UPC: 74236 500270
📅 Only certain best-by dates are affected.

Horizon Organic initiated the voluntary recall on August 7 after receiving customer complaints. The company says it is investigating the cause of the premature spoilage.

🛒 WHAT SHOULD SHOPPERS DO?

If you purchased an affected package, customers can return it to Market 32 or Price Chopper for a full refund.

This is particularly worth sharing locally because Market 32 and Price Chopper are widely used throughout the Capital Region. A quick check of what you have at home could save you from accidentally using an affected product. 👍

There’s a brand-new outdoor recreation opportunity right in our backyard! 🙌

A new wheelchair-accessible archery range has officially opened at Black Creek Marsh Wildlife Management Area — and it’s the first of more than a dozen new archery facilities planned across New York State.

🎯 WHAT YOU’LL FIND AT THE NEW RANGE:

🏹 Areas designed for both low-draw and full-draw weights
🎯 Targets accommodating all bow types
⬆️ Elevated shooting platforms
♿ Wheelchair-accessible facilities
🌿 A scenic setting within the Black Creek Marsh Wildlife Management Area
🌅 Open dawn to dusk

The range was officially unveiled Wednesday, with Albany County Chief Policy Officer Cameron Sagan attending the grand opening on behalf of County Executive Dan McCoy.

The project is part of a larger statewide initiative by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Up to 13 new archery ranges are expected to be constructed, supported by a $3.1 million federal Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration grant.

💰 According to the DEC, individual ranges are expected to cost approximately $150,000 to $300,000, with additional facilities planned around New York over the next five years.

For residents of Voorheesville, New Scotland, Bethlehem and the surrounding Capital Region, this adds another nearby option for getting outdoors, learning a new skill and practicing archery in a facility designed to accommodate a wide range of ages, experience levels and physical abilities. 🌳🏹

📍 Black Creek Marsh WMA can be accessed from Meadowdale Road, School Road, Hennessey Road and the end of Kling Terrace.

A/S – Addition & Subtraction, left to right

There are no parentheses or exponents here, so we do the division BEFORE the addition.

Step 1️⃣: Divide

25 ÷ 5 = 5

Now our problem becomes:

20 + 5

Step 2️⃣: Add

20 + 5 = 25

A common mistake would be adding 20 + 25 first, but addition has to wait until the division is completed.
