After several days of limited fresh food availability, there's good news for Delmar shoppers! ❤️

The Hannaford on Delaware Avenue is now almost completely restocked following the refrigeration system failure that disrupted operations earlier this week.

The issue, which began Tuesday evening, forced the cancellation of Hannaford To Go online grocery pickup orders on Wednesday and left many shelves in the produce, dairy, meat, and deli departments temporarily empty. While the store remained open, shoppers visiting Wednesday and Thursday found limited selections of refrigerated and fresh products.

Fortunately, repairs to the refrigeration system were completed Thursday evening, and crews wasted no time getting the store back to normal.

🚛 Overnight Recovery Effort
Four refrigerated trucks arrived with fresh inventory, and employees worked through the night and into Friday morning to refill shelves throughout the store.

When Bethlehem Local News stopped by around 8:30 a.m. Friday, staff members were still hard at work stocking products, but the store was already looking nearly 100% back to normal, and online grocery orders have resumed.

👏 A big thank you goes out to the hardworking Hannaford employees who spent long overnight hours getting the store ready for the community.

From 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM this Saturday, the outdoor grill will be serving up tasty mini hot dogs, and $1 from every item sold will be donated directly to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society to help care for animals in need.
