Could one of Bethlehem's most beloved ice cream destinations be preparing for a return? 🍨❤️

While nothing has been officially announced, there's been plenty of buzz around Delmar in recent days—and many longtime residents are starting to wonder if something exciting is happening at the former Tollgate Ice Cream location.

Here's what we've learned so far:

🍦 Neighbors have reported activity around and inside the building, with several people posting on Nextdoor that they've seen workers at the property.

📝 No building permit has been spotted in the front window during our visit, so there has been no public indication of renovation work at this time.

🏢 One local resident living in the Tollgate Apartments shared online that they believe the building has been purchased by the property's owner. We have not independently confirmed that information.

🪟 Someone has clearly been inside—the front window shades have been raised, a noticeable change from what many residents have become accustomed to seeing.

💡 And perhaps the most exciting sight of all... the iconic Tollgate sign was recently illuminated, according to photos shared by McSharry & Associates on Facebook! We've also included photos we took on Saturday so you can see the latest for yourself.

🤔 So... what does it all mean?

At this point, there has been no official announcement, and we don't want to get ahead of the facts. But with activity at the building and the famous sign lighting up once again, it's certainly enough to get the community talking.

❤️ For many Bethlehem residents, Tollgate wasn't just an ice cream shop—it was where memories were made. First dates, family outings, Little League celebrations, summer nights with friends... generations have fond memories of stopping by for a cone.

Great news for pedestrians, families, and neighbors in Bethlehem! 👏

If you've driven along Feura Bush Road recently, you've probably noticed some major progress! Our latest video shows the new sidewalk taking shape between Elsmere Avenue and Hasgate Drive/Murray Avenue as this long-awaited safety improvement moves closer to completion.

🚧 This project has been years in the making, with planning stretching back several years. Construction was delayed due to challenges involving property rights-of-way and the need to safely cross an existing drainage ditch, but it's exciting to finally see the project becoming a reality.

🚶 Once completed, the new sidewalk will:
✅ Improve pedestrian safety
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Provide a safer route for families, walkers, and runners
🏡 Enhance connectivity throughout the neighborhood
🚸 Create a more accessible corridor for residents traveling along Feura Bush Road

Before adding or subtracting, solve:

25 × 0 = 0

Now the equation becomes:

Many people see the subtraction sign and want to calculate:

50 + 50 − 25 = 75

But that's incorrect because multiplication always comes before addition and subtraction.

Remember this simple rule:

PEMDAS

Since 25 × 0 = 0, you're really subtracting zero, which doesn't change the total.
